After receiving a number of complaints from our customers expressing the commodes were not flushing properly and toilet paper ran out, we decided to assign a cleaning staff in each washroom to keep it clean and replenish consumables. But then we found that this is very cost-ineffective.
By observing trends of washroom usage and occupancy statistics, management team can identify their washrooms’ busiest or quietest times statistically and adjust cleaning staff work schedule in the most efficient manner. When there are needs of cleaning or refilling consumables, notifications will be sent to maintenance personnel in real time.
The management team can now apply dynamic scheduling of on-demand cleaning to minimize human resources wastage and improve productivity, which enhanced the quality of work as an outcome. Planning and management of the consumables inventory have also become easier with consumption data collected and analyzed.
