THEIR CHALLENGE
The biggest challenge for us to manage washrooms in our shopping mall is the hygiene problem, especially the awkward malodour problem. Although we have increased the fixed-interval routine check from 3 to 4 times per day, the problem still exists during the high traffic periods. To offer visitors better experience, tackling the malodour issue is our top priority, as smell is still ranked as the first priority for people in washrooms.

OUR SOLUTION
Using ammonia sensors to monitor their washroom environment in real time, ammonia level in the air is tracked in real time and turned into actionable insights when it exceeds the threshold. Cleaning teams receive push notifications on their PDAs whenever washrooms are becoming smelly with higher than normal ammonia level recorded.
THE OUTCOME
With much shorter response time to address hygienic issues, the malodour situation has been significantly rectified. Maintaining clean washrooms ensures user experience is seamless from the moment they step through the door, which as a result, visitors are more encouraged to linger in the mall. At the same time, brand image and stickiness are also enhanced.
