The way we managed washrooms was routine and periodic – cleaning supervisors checked the washroom condition few times a day and rate it on a piece of paper, the information was only processed and evaluated when I got it at the end of the week. This method only served to check if something has not been fully completed, but we want to be more proactive in providing our customers a better experience in our mall, even in the washroom.
Having a better understanding on the trends of footfall, peak/off peak usages, ammonia levels, consumables usage and emergency situation in toilet, management team can improve response time and optimize productivity while minimizing manpower wastage.
With the real-time tracking of washroom condition through various types of sensors deployed, facility management is now able to perform evaluations efficiently. Gathering and analyzing data also help the management to better plan and optimize resources. Eventually, it all boils down to offer a better user experience for their visitors.
